On August 3rd, 2016, the Fōrma + Collective doors officially opened. Ten days later, we hosted a huge celebration, surrounded by our closest family, friends and clients. Fully stocked swag bags holding a mix of the best products in the industry, R+Co , Kérastase and L’Oréal took over our entrance.
There was a featured photo station, as well as the always entertaining beats by everyone’s favorite DJ Mear that kept our guests entertained all night.
Oh, and not to mention, everyone’s bellies were filled with the deliciousness of Metropolitan Bar and Grill. They are an incredible, locally owned vendor, and were a dream to work with from the moment we called them to set everything up. They delivered samples to taste a week before, and designed a menu that would be fitting for guests to enjoy through out the party. Metropolitan’s thoughtful planning did not disappoint, as every bite was pure heaven. To top it off- the homemade macaroons by their amazing chef…stop it, we were raving about them! The customer service was beyond…they setup, and took down, packed up leftovers to go, came back to check on things throughout the evening to refresh, and thank God they did, because somehow the table almost set on fire! They even brought a bottle of wine and a thank you card, when really, we had all the thanking to do! Because the food and experience was so amazing, we order food from them almost weekly. It goes without saying, every single bite it always divine. Metropolitan will always receive automatic, endless referrals from Forma!
The amount of was positive feedback regarding the overall ambiance and decor of our new home filled with handcrafted local art was overwhelming. Phillip Castillo made our dream of having the “but did you see the bathroom!” reaction come true from all of our guests.
Our dear friend Jovan Nixon handcrafted a beautiful succulent pallet for one of the largest walls in the salon. Almost every client asks where they can purchase one for themself.
Alongside the blood, sweat and tears Chelsea and Jessi have put into their shared lifelong dream, we’ve had the same amount of love, support and dedication from our family and friends that have stood by our sides. This, in turn, has created one of the most beautiful and unforgettable experiences a human could ever encounter.
Overwhelmed with emotion, Chelsea and Jessi tried desperately to express in words the gratitude they felt toward each and every one of you – but no amount of words could possibly capture the essence of the true and pure emotion we feel deep in our souls.
The biggest thank you to Chelsea’s dad Tom Bush for dedicating 3 months of his life to build out this space, and Jessi’s mom Juanita Pierce for helping him every step of the way. There are countless family members and friends that spent their free time here helping us put this place together and this event.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in us. Thank you for taking this journey with us – for loving us and for supporting us. This is just the beginning. Till next time…
