A note from our founder
Hi,
My name is Chelsea Vonne James and I’ve been in the beauty industry for 15 years. Over that time I’ve been in countless salons, teaching for the largest beauty brand in the world. The reason I have a salon is because hairdressers are some of the most incredible people on the planet. They are heart lead people. Hairdressers hold space for people throughout the journey of their lives. This includes watching the entire spectrum of births, deaths and everything in between. The capacity within them and the amount of energy required to create and be a safe space for people to be vulnerable is a truly miraculous thing. I created a space that focuses on them. Everyone working at the collective is inspiring, talented, passionate and creative. I care for each artist deeply and am proud to work along side them. It is a place where they are seen, encouraged and supported in their dreams. Every person is dedicated to creating a luxury experience for our guests and committed to growth and education. Thank you so much for following our journey to shake up the beauty industry norms and supporting us as humans, artists and professionals.

We are at the forefront of the industry and are also passionate about sharing our techniques, mission and hearts with other artists globally.

You respect hairdressers and understand they work very hard, care very much and honor their craft, time and skills. You’re committed to asking questions if you have any and you are also willing to share what you need during your appointment. That may be a chance to unwind and not feel like you have to talk or you may be feeling like you want to share the most embarrassing thing you have ever done so you don’t have to be alone with it. Either way you know your safe and respected!
You are also willing to share with the homies if you had a wonderful experience or give us a review. You’re willing to contact us if you see, or experience something you didn’t love so we can figure out how to make it right!
